We process + ship orders M-F, excluding holidays. Please allow 1 to 2 business days for orders to be processed. You'll receive a notification via email (or text if you opted in for texts) when your order has shipped, along with a tracking number.
How do I check the status of my order?
You can view your order status on your Account page which is updated as soon as your payment is processed and when your order ships.
Can I make changes to my order?
Our fulfillment center works fast, but we’ll do our best to address your request. Please contact our care team at email@example.com with your order info.

We ship to all 50 states in the United States.
What shipping methods do you offer?
- Standard Shipping (4-8 business days) for a flat rate of $5. Standard Shipping is free for all orders $40+.
- Expedited Shipping (2 business days). Expedited Shipping is only available to the 48 contiguous states, excluding AK, HI, APO/FPO and P.O. Boxes.
You may experience longer delivery times if you're shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, and APO/FPO.

How do I start a return?
Contact our care team at firstname.lastname@example.org within 30 days of receiving your order, and we'll make it right. Just be sure to include your order number in your email.
I received Kinship as a gift. Can I return or exchange it?
We're sorry to hear you didn't love your gift! Contact our care team at email@example.com.
Please note that we will need the original order number to refund to the orginal payment method or exchange.
How long does it take to process a return and receive a refund?
Please allow approximately 5-10 business days for credit card refunds to process.
You will be refunded to your original form of payment. Please note, original shipping charges are not refundable.
How long does it take to see results?
Most of our products are fast acting and you can see results in 1-2 days, but to see true transformation it generally takes 2-3 weeks.
Can I use Kinship with other skincare products?
Yes. Kinship may be used with other skincare products. Consult your physician before using Kinship if you are using prescription facial products or peels, or are undergoing dermatologic procedures.
Can I use Kinship if I have sensitive skin?
We recommend a patch test before starting any new skincare regimen. To patch test, apply a small amount of the product on the lower jaw. Wait 1-2 minutes before proceeding. If any redness, irritation or swelling develops, please discontinue use of the product and contact our care team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What if I see little bumps on my skin after using Kinship?
With any new skincare regimen, the skin may go through a purging process. Developing small bumps can happen as dirt + oil are pulled from pores, and skin is exfoliated and detoxified. These bumps typically subside within 3-4 days and should not be a concern. If the bumps do not disappear, discontinue use and consult your physician as you may be sensitive to one or more ingredients in Kinship. Is it safe to use Kinship if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
Consult your physician before using Kinship if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Pimple Potion contains Retinal which should be avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Do your products have expiration dates?
The over-the-counter products (Pimple Potion + Self Reflect) have the expiration date listed on the package. All other products have an approximate 2 year shelf life once opened.
Are your products safe for kids/all ages?
We have formulated Kinship for younger skin, but please consult your physician and patch-test the products on anyone under 18.
Is Kinship cruelty-free? Does Kinship test products on animals?
Kinship is cruelty free and certified by Leaping Bunny. Neither our ingredients nor finished products are tested on animals.
Are Kinship products vegan?
All Kinship products are vegan with the exception of Insta Swipe, which has a small amount of honey in it.
Are Kinship products gluten-free?
All Kinship products are gluten-free.
Are Kinship products paraben-free?
All Kinship products are paraben-free.
Are Kinship products chemical-free?
Kinship formulates to EU standards and does not use chemicals that are potentially harmful to health or the environment.
Are Kinship products all-natural?
There is no official definition for “natural” in skincare or cosmetics. We are committed to clean, clinically-tested ingredients that are kind-to-skin. Kinbiome™️ and many of our active ingredients (i.e., avocado oil, papaya enzymes, coconut, turmeric, watermelon, marshmallow root) are plant-based, harnessing the benefits of polyphenols, prebiotics and antioxidants from nature. Synthetic ingredients such as preservatives are only used when needed to maintain shelf stability.
Are your products organic?
The majority of our ingredients are plant-based ingredients sourced from nature and we include certified organic ingredients whenever possible. All certified organic ingredients are noted in our ingredients lists, denoted with an (*).
Are Kinship products fragrance-free?
Kinship products do not contain synthetic fragrances which are known to be potential allergens and are often made with petrochemicals and phthalates. Instead we use botanically-based essential oils and natural essences that have an uplifting scent and can help enhance the beauty of the skin.
Is Kinship FDA-compliant?
Kinship complies with all US FDA protocols. Kinship also proudly complies with European Union and Health Canada safety standards for cosmetics—the strictest in the industry.
Are Kinship products preservative-free?
Kinship products contain proven, safe, broad-spectrum cosmetic preservatives such as phenoxyethanol and ethylhexlglycerin to ensure the shelf life and stability of the products. These preservatives are accepted by the European Union safety standards.
Is Kinship non-GMO?
Yes, Kinship does not contain any genetically modified ingredients.
How does Kinship rate on the EWG scale?
The majority of Kinship's ingredients rate a "1" or "2" on the EWG scale.

Is Kinship dairy-free? Soy-free? Nut-free?
Yes, Kinship is dairy-free (and vegan, except for Insta Swipe, which contains a small amount of honey).
The soy-derived lecithin we use doesn't contain the protein responsible for allergic reactions to soy, but consult with your physician if you have allergies.
NAKED PAPAYA contains cacao seed butter and jojoba oil; SUPERMELLO contains cacao seed butter, tamanu oil and a small amount of coconut oil; SELF-REFLECT has shea butter and jojoba oils.

Kinbiome™ is our proprietary microbiome technology – a plant-based pre-probiotic – derived from the fermentation of lactobacillus to support a strong natural skin barrier. What is Ocean Waste Plastic?
Ocean Waste Plastic (OWP) is a sustainable solution for the plastic pollution issue in our world's oceans, developed by our partners at Pack Tech. The plastic waste that is already in the oceans or areas nearby is collected by local fisherman and then cleaned + converted into new packaging.
Where does the Ocean Waste Plastic come from?
Kinship's OWP is primarily collected in and around the Java Sea, the beaches of Bali, Indonesia, and the rivers Mahanadi and Mithi in India.

Yes! Our OWP jars, lids and liners are recyclable (PE #1 and PP #5). We always advise that you check with your local recycling programs to see what materials are accepted.
