Kinda glowy finish for dry skin
I just wrote another review and forgot to say that the finish is slightly glowy.
It isn't tacky at all, it completely dries down for me with my dry winter combination skin. However it isn't nearly moisturizing enough on it's own for my dry winter skin, so I put it on over a full skincare routine including the kinship mellow moisturizer.
The glow I get from it isn't much more than I'm used to after a full a skincare routine, however I love a ton of moisture and a silky or glowy finish so that's where I'm coming from. It's definitely not matte and I'm guessing that's why it doesn't work as well for oilier skin types.
I have been using the krave beauty beet chemical sunscreen, which is Super Glowy so that's the finish I'm used to. However I wanted to move away from that one even though I love the texture and finish because I have sensitive skin and I feel like the high level of alcohol slowy dries out and makes my skin more red. So I've been searching for a fully mineral reef safe option to replace it.
I also recently used the maelove zinc sunscreen and hated that one. It left a tacky, heavy finish and made me look like a ghost the whitecast is so bad even for my pale/reddish skin.
I also really liked the cotz mineral tinted sunscreen for the lack of whitecast, but I hated the silicone finish.
After trying all of those sunscreens (and other even worse ones of course) and being unhappy I felt like I was very picky about sunscreens, but this one does the trick for me. It ticks…
