Since using this nightly, my skin has been clearer than it has been in years, including reduced pore size. I almost always have a breakout and found good results with Murad’s resurgence moisturizer, but I think this works better and is priced more reasonably. (I was introduced to both through Ipsy, and have purchased repeatedly since then.) The packaging is nice in that it’s easy to use all of the product in the container, and is slim and lightweight, My only issue is the smell. Others say it has a nice light scent, but all I smell is sulfur. It does seem to fade fairly quickly, though, and I only use it once a day at night before bed. A thin layer to my entire face, except eye area, has been most effective.
I have other products that work faster and better
I do not have acne but I do get clogged and enlarged pores in my t-zone frequently. They're part of mild rosacea. My skin loves 2% BHA and also loves (the ordinary) retinol. I've been wanting to try retinaldehyde but hard to find in a reasonably priced product. This sounded perfect for me, but it's not. Used it 3x; first night, then skipped a day, then 2 nights in a row. No irritation or other problems but little to no noticeable effect on my skin. Maybe a little bit of general smoothing but my bumps remained. Compared to the ordinary 2% Sal Acid anhydrous serum or Suki Balancing lotion which both disappear or reduce those bumps overnight. I gave it 3 stars since for someone with different skin it might work great, minimal to no smell, easy application. Sadly it's a no for me.

I bought this product around a year ago and it’s my go to for my skincare. When I have a noticeable acne spot the night before, use this and expect it to be gone or HIGHLY REDUCED by the morning. At first I was a bit cautious because it was a more expensive product, but it’s worth it.
