Yes, it exfoliates
There is an awesome amount of resurfacing lactic acid in this mask which was a welcome surprise. It will leave your skin pink if you are fair - tingling is a standard sensation of chemical exfoliation. I use this at night and follow with facial oil only - no pink in the morning, just brightened smooth skin. I wouldn't have needed chemical exfoliation in my twenties but I'm mid thirty now and it's great.

as soon as i put this product on my face it immediately started to burn. my face looked like it was sun burnt and i’m a very pail person.
Burnt and marked my skin so bad
Received a sample & applied the mask and within 15 seconds it felt like I was applying corrosive acid on my face. I immediately took it off it burnt my skin so bad you can literally see the spatula marks on my face from where the product was spread. My face is burning hot, dry & the texture is off, like a layer of my skin was burnt. At first I thought it might be just me but now I’m seeing so many reviews with the same issue and now I’m wondering why kinship would keep putting out a product that has resulted in so many bad reactions. First time trying the brand, might be my last.
Left my skin burning
I tried it for the first time tonight and it left my face red and burning. Took benadryl and put cortisone cream on my face, hopefully it looks better by tomorrow. If you have sensitive roseacea skin, I would stay away.
